WHAT THE COMPANY KEPT
The data stayed with them.
So did their business.
The license gave the buyer agreed uses of a historical dataset. The brokerage kept its records, continued using them in its own business, and retained its customer relationships.
Only selected historical records entered the package. Current work and selected customer accounts stayed outside it, and identities were removed.
TELEGRAPH HANDLED THE WORK
We built the package.
The owner made the decisions.
The owner started with a shipment spreadsheet. We found the history around it and handled the work of bringing it to buyers.
Telegraph Lab’s role
- Find and connect the records across systems and archives.
- Define the inventory and prepare the buyer description.
- Approach buyers, answer questions, and compare offers.
The owner’s role
- Point us to the systems and available history.
- Choose what to include and what to keep private.
- Review the offers and select the terms that fit.
Two weeks from first contact to offer.

First conversation
We reviewed what the owner already had.
- WEEK 1

WHY THE PACKAGE HAD VALUE
We made the business history
useful to a buyer.
A route and a price tell only part of the story. We connected the messages, documents, decisions, and outcomes behind 100,000 completed shipments.
Carrier cancelled → replacement compared → extra cost approved → delivery completed → invoice reconciled.
The owner chose completed domestic shipments from 2010–2024. Recent work and selected customer accounts stayed outside the package; identities were removed.
